PSC has won with Aspon Consulting after competing tenders, the training module of the ACUA project, of Limassol Municipality. PSC has undertaken to present the 50 hrs of training, organised in 7 modules that cover several areas of waste management.
ACUA (Autonomous Composting Units for Urban Areas) project is a European Interreg project with an aim to develop a system for the collection and processing of the bio-waste produced (partial and/or total), within the urban fabric and focusing on the block of flats or a small number of blocks of flats or on any area of urban interest. In the heart of these actions is the installation of Autonomous Composting Units (ACUs) at certain facilities with high waste production (restaurants, hotels etc.).
The seminars are conducted in cooperation will Limassol Municipality and include various subjects such as waste reduction, composting, circular economy, legal, social, economic and political aspects of waste management, awareness raising campaigns regarding waste, etc.
The seminars are conducted on the following dates in the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry:

5th day: 13/02/2020
The seminars target the municipalities, restaurants, hotels and the general public.
